Ficus benjamina ‘Golden King’, also known as the Golden King Ficus, is a striking indoor plant with distinctive features. It has paler green leaves bordered with creamy gold – they are delicate and look truly ethereal, like a magic tree from a fairytale!
Appearance:
- It grows up to approximately 170 cm tall with good care.
- The glossy leaves are dark green and particularly decorative.
- Each leaf tapers to a twisted point.
- The leaf margins have irregular, cream, and light green markings.

The leaf itself is green. The edges are edged with a torn strip of yellow or lemon-green color. - A light vein runs through the middle of the leaf with no branches.

- Temperature: Keep it in a warm environment (around 25°C to 30°C in summer and at least 18°C in winter).
- Watering: Water once or twice a week in summer, reduce to once a week (or even less) in winter.
- Humidity: Frequent spraying is essential for this variety.
- Transplantation: Young plants annually, mature plants every few years.
- Avoid Drafts: Ficus benjamina ‘Golden King’ dislikes drafts and sharp temperature changes.
